Vice President – Sales
We are looking for a Vice President – Sales, for a large international mixed use property developer for their local operations based in China. The role requires someone with extensive local market knowledge with experience selling overseas based projects including high end residential units. The position can be based in either Beijing or Shanghai and will target local customers and high net worth individuals who are looking to invest in overseas projects. They require a highly experienced individual with a strategic approach to drive this team in order to achieve this. Candidates applying for this role will have worked in a Director’s or Generals Manager’s position with a leading Real Estate organization or Broker and will be able to drive all operations for this strategy.
•Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
•Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the region; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new developments.
•Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve annual sales targets
•Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
•Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
•Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
•Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject
•Local market experience in either Beijing or Shanghai is required
•Strong real estate sales experience and market knowledge
•Previous experience in managing large sales teams, ideally 30+
•Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
•Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director
•Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
•Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of our developments
•Proven ability to position our property and developers against competitors
•Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused and achievable solutions
•Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
•Experience working in high volume sales environments
•Someone who is a leader and a strong decision maker with the ability to motivate and manage Sales Directors and Sales Managers
•You will ideally be someone who is at the top of their game and currently hold a similar level role within a well established brand, this could be either a developer or a brokerage firm
•Strong communications skills in local dialect as well as Mandarin or Cantonese and English
•An effective networker
